Research and Projects Interests

I have worked in the School of Education since February 2001, working on a number of projects with colleagues from VICTAR and the broader ISEEP group in a variety of topics including the following:

  • The mobility and independence needs of children with visual impairment
  • Primary exclusions in a London borough
  • E-learning for professional development in the field of visual impairment
  • Day service provision for adults with visual impairment
  • Non-medical advisory and support services in eye clinics
  • Development of online mobility and independence resources
  • The Network 1000 project, involving a three-year survey of the changing needs of 1000 people with visual impairment
