Profile

Before taking up his post as tutor to training programmes for teachers of children and adults with visual impairment in the School of Education, Steve worked as a qualified teacher of children with visual impairment (QTVI) in Liverpool and the Isle of Wight. He was World Vice President of the International Council for the Education of persons with Visual Impairment (ICEVI) and is co-director of VICTAR  (Visual Impairment Centre for Teaching and Research) and co-editor of the Co-Editor British Journal of Visual Impairment.
