Research and Projects Interests

Karen has an interest in various aspects of anti-oppressive practice, in particular the intersection of race, gender and power dimensions in educational contexts and professional practice.

Teaching Interests

Karen Grandison is a practicing senior educational psychologist currently working in Walsall. Her role there includes a focus on the strategic and operational development of services for vulnerable groups of children. As an academic and professional tutor on the educational psychology training course she contributes to planning and teaching and provides tutorial support, she also co-ordinates the Individual Needs Module.
