I have worked at the University since 1997. I was Assistant Manager in Housing Services from 1997-2000 and then Research Manager in the Department of Primary Care and General Practice from 2000-Jan 2004.

Current Role

Main Duties

• Responsible for formulating policies and strategic plans regarding the operation and development of the School and staff and advising the Head of School on these as appropriate.
• Represent the Head of School as required, both internally and externally.
• Interpret University and government policies and advise on implementation within the School.
• Analyse current practices and lead the development of systems, processes and procedures within the School, with the overall objective of freeing academic staff from administrative responsibilities wherever possible.
• Member of School Executive Group, School Board, School Committee.
