Profile

Career researcher since 1987 in the areas of Law, Social Policy & Education. Lecturer in Sociology within HE and FE. Research Fellow in School of Education since 1997. Current research is within CRMDE.

Research and Projects Interests

Current work within CRMDE involves research into the postgraduate education of dentists and medics. Of particular interest is the use of a qualitative approach to explore the impact of education on patient care.

Teaching Interests

Since joining the department I have contributed to teaching on the BA Continuing Studies, Equal Opportunities for PGCE students and have contributed to teaching research methods.
