Throughout the year a number of Scholarships and Studentships are available at the School of Education.
The Educational Review journal supports one scholarship annually that is open to students applying, or already studying part-time, for a Masters award (MEd, MA).
The scholarship covers fees for one year full-time or two years part-time study (or the remaining fees for continuing students) in the School of Education.
Applicants should apply by letter, and include:
Selection is based on the CV, letter of application and supporting letter
For 2009-10 the scholarship will be awarded to an overseas student.
Completed letters of application should be submitted to Dr Deirdre Martin, Executive Editor, School of Education (Edgbaston) on or before Tuesday 9th June, 2009.

In 2009/2010 the School of Education will be able to award two quota fully ESRC-funded studentships for MPhil/PhD (starting October 2009).

This award was set up in 1986 to enable a selected candidate to study full time in Education at the School of Education at the University of Birmingham.
The Florence Congleton Scholarship is to support an African woman studying here in the School of Education.
