During the first stage of the LIW project (January – July 2004) the team conducted a literature review of research on forms of interagency working aimed at responsively enhancing the capabilities of clients and on the learning that is required for such work. Our initial analyses of the literature suggested this is an area where conceptual development is required. Completed in July 2004, the literature review forms the basis of initial project papers and is available to policy-makers and service providers working with children, young people and families.
