The Centre for Research into Organisation and Pedagogy (CROP) offers a forum to debate and develop social and cultural approaches to pedagogy in academic, educational and work-based settings. CROP’s work will contribute to re-thinking notions of pedagogy from a range of critical perspectives that address cultural, social and political dimensions within contemporary organisations. The Centre will serve as a particular focus for members of the Professional Learning and Pedagogy Research Group and will develop links with other Research Groups, especially Governance, Management and Leadership and Knowledge, Culture and Diversity. In particular, we see the Centre was an important point of convergence for research students whose interests accord with those of the Centre.
