Students and staff with Asperger syndrome/autism at the University of Birmingham can now access the AS Portal, which is an online discussion space. This was developed in 2008 in response to requests from students with Asperger syndrome. The portal is a place where students can meet online and current students will play a key role in shaping its growth and development.

The AS Portal is located in the General Community section of mybham groups, which students and staff can access by logging in to mybham and entering the groups section on the top right of the page.
