Modes of Study

Programmes in CPD are delivered in the following modes:

Full-time study - requires attendance on campus and programmes are normally completed within one academic year.

Part-time study - requires attendance on campus usually at twilight seminars and is normally completed in two years at Certificate, Diploma, BPhil level and three years if a Master.

Distance Education - usually requires attendance at residentials and tutorials - students receive units of work and materials on a termly basis. Some programmes also provide content and activities via the WebCT for which students are required to have internet access. Students are supported by a regional tutor.

E-Learning - Students require internet access and work entirely via WebCT, the Virtual Learning Environment, supported by regional tutors.

The modes of study available are detailed on the programmes web pages.
